JakiLyn and Michael King are a husband and wife duo who have been playing together for 17 years. They perform classic pop, rock and country music acoustically with guitars, and other instruments. Think of Tongue Mountain as a small continent, rising from the ocean. It contains many ecosystems. The songs that I bring are acoustic, melodic, rhythmic expressions of these ecosystems. They are diverse, complex, and beautiful. They are mysterious, sprawling, and playful. Very inspired by nature, I represent these places with an intricate hybrid style of percussive and fingerpicking guitar. A labor of love , and a pleasure to listen to.

Live Music: Ashleigh Bennett
Ashleigh is a recent transplant from northwestern Pennsylvania. She began performing solo acoustic sets in 2017, which eventually led to the formation of several bands and projects over the years. She's played venues all over the East Coast, opened for bands such as The Clarks and First to Eleven. Her former band "The Band Hannah", also recorded and released 2 singles and an EP, which can be found on all streaming services. She recently returned to her solo acoustic roots following her journey to New Mexico, and she is loving getting to know the Four Corners music scene. When she's not performing, you can find her teaching private lessons or hanging out with her partner and their cats.

Doc Monos is a solo acoustic project from singer/songwriter Andy Jaehrling. Andy has performed across the US ( Iowa, Washington State, Washington DC, Colorado, Texas) since the mid 90's, mostly in bands, but now as a solo artist. Andy brings a nice mix of Folk, Americana, Blues, and Rockabilly to his original compositions, played in a very raw, low-fi style. He also performs “deeper-cut” cover tunes from the 50's to the early 2000's, by artists such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Tom Petty, just to name a few . . .

Join us downtown every Saturday from May through October for the Durango Farmers Market—a vibrant celebration of local agriculture, food, and community. Shop fresh-picked produce, pasture-raised meats, handmade goods, and locally prepared eats. Enjoy live music, rotating kids’ activities, chef demos, and more. All vendors come from our five-county region, keeping your dollars local and supporting small farms, ranches and businesses.

Lost boys string band is a folk rhythm and blues duo with a message! Homegrown here in Southwest Colorado. These boys have hot harmonica, solos, amazing guitar licks, and mesmerizing harmonies.

This holiday season, focus on shopping local and supporting your community at the Durango Farmers Market Holiday Market! Discover unique, handcrafted gifts, fresh local produce, and festive treats while celebrating the spirit of the season. By choosing to shop local, you’re not only finding one-of-a-kind treasures but also helping to sustain small businesses and strengthen our local economy.
This year, we’re proud to partner with several local nonprofit organizations to make this event even more meaningful:
La Plata County Humane Society (LPCHS): Stop by their Holiday Photo Booth to snap festive pictures with adorable adoptable puppies! With a costume rack for extra fun, this is a perfect way to add some holiday cheer while supporting LPCHS.
San Juan Mountain Association: Purchase a beautiful Christmas Tree for Conservation and contribute to the preservation of our natural resources.
Manna: Join our donation drive to support Manna’s essential services, helping provide coats, blankets, food, and more to those in need this winter. As a thank-you, donors will receive $5 in Market Bucks to spend with any of our vendors, supporting both Manna’s mission and local businesses.

Our only market in November! Be sure to come down and get all your ingredients for those special harvest celebration meals! Many of our regular season vendors will be there, plus we will be adding in some new vendors for this special market!
Squash, onions, goat cheese, microgreens, eggs, meats, special seasonal products!
Get a jump on your holiday shopping as well with our local artisans and their high-quality hand-crafted items made from our own corner of the world!

2nd Annual Trick or Treat at the Market
Celebrate the final market of our regular season with a fun-filled Halloween event for the whole family! Kids can trick or treat at the vendor booths, enjoy live music by local favorite Maria Joy, and experience thrilling theatrical performances from clowns, acrobats, and more.
Food & Drink
Savor the flavors of fall with delicious, locally sourced food and drinks from our market vendors. Enjoy hot beverages, fresh baked goods, savory treats, and much more while you shop and celebrate the season.
Pumpkin Carving Contest
Get creative and carve your pumpkin right at the market! The contest begins at 9:00 AM, and pumpkins must be submitted to the judges by 12:00 PM. All pumpkins must be carved on-site to be eligible for judging. Winners will be announced at 12:30 PM.
Pumpkin Contest Rules:
All pumpkins must be carved on-site at the market.
Open to all ages.
One entry per person.
Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and craftsmanship.
The top 3 winners will receive Market Bucks to spend at the market:

Apple Days
The Apple Days Festival celebrates our region’s abundance of apples while also helping to feed the community, reduce food waste, and ultimately save the bears. This fun-filled festival features an apple press where all who want to can jump in and make fresh apple cider. There will be several family-friendly activities, local vendor booths, and of course, an apple pie-eating contest!
